School Profile: Cardiff Sixth Form College has again been ranked the top independent school in the UK by the Times Newspapers for 2017. 92% of students achieved A*-A grades and 99% A*-B and 19 have confirmed Oxbridge places. The College fuses Eastern and Western philosophies of education and students here are focused, disciplined, supported and encouraged to reach beyond their academic horizons and strive for the best results possible. Teaching staff are all highly experienced with many having been examiners or inspectors in other schools. Highly rated by the pupils, staff offer one to one support, tutorials and academic enrichment on top of their extensive teaching programme. A designated careers team at the College drive and reinforce student passion for learning with excellent careers guidance, UCAS support, entrance to US and other international universities, lectures and work experience programmes.
