23 hours class per week: 15 hours of General English in the mornings + 8 hours of classes in the afternoons (no classes on Friday)
In the mornings, you will study General English to improve all your language skills – reading, writing, speaking and listening. Please see General English above for more information on the morning classes.
In the afternoons, there is a choice of academic subjects including Academic Writing, Reading and Writing, Speaking and Listening, and exam preparation classes. The exams you take will depend on which afternoon classes you attend, and on your level of English. Your teacher will be able to advise you about which courses are appropriate for you. The afternoon classes available are:
– BULATS
– First Certificate in English (FCE)
– Certificate of Advanced English (CAE)
– Key English Test (KET)
– Preliminary English Test (PET)
– Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
– Academic exam skills (including IELTS) preparation
– Academic writing
